YERITAC Youth Non-governmental Organization

Established officially in the beginning of 2005, YERITAC has been acting on volunteer level far before that, based on the initiatives of young people from Armenian universities, organizing various scientific events in cooperation with Armenian and International Philosophical Academies. Having participated in numerous international events in various countries (Austria, Poland, India, Czech Republic, Russia, Hungary, Syria and etc.) we learnt the necessity and importance of planning and organizing events for ideas exchange among scientific community in Armenia and worldwide.

So far YERITAC is involved in the organization of several projects for women’s participation, as well as communicates with various international organizations on events in other countries. Information about these events will come some.


IYCND is the first event for young scholars that will take place in Armenia. We do hope it will be a successful achievement and we can organize this kind of event furthermore and establish a network of cooperation.

Alexander Hakobyan
Alexander Hakobyan holds an MA degree in Philosophy and currently is doing his PHD in Psychology. He is one of the founders of YERITAC YNGO and a devoted member. With a great experience of organizing international conferences on various topics Alexander is responsible for administrative part of IYCND preparation and organization.

Hovhannes Jonas Grigoryan
Hovhannes Jonas Grigoryan is doing his PHD in Sociology and is working directly on culture and democracies. He is lecturing at Yerevan State University, Faculty of Sociology. He is a co-founder of Yeritac NGO and is in charge of international communication. During IYCND he is responsible for scientific part, contacts with experts and selection of participants.

Mariam Movsisyan is doing her PhD in Philosophy of Law at Yerevan State University. She has also graduated from Caucasus Media Institute and has a big experience in PR. Now she is assisting YERITAC with its public relations.

Hasmik Evoyan
Hasmik Evoyan studies in Yerevan State Institute of Economics (specialization Management and Economics of Enterprises). Her minor is Psychology. Hasmik is responsible for the cultural part of IYCND – organizing trips, leisure and entertainment of the participants.

Lusine Ghahramanyan
Lusine Ghahramanyan obtained her BSc and MSc in Biology from Yerevan State University and holds Master of Business Administration (MBA) from American University of Armenia. With a big experience in youth work, she is a person with high responsibility and is involved in the design of projects and writing of proposals.

Robert Hakobyan is a Leading Specialist in the Ministry of Nature Protection of Armenia. He is one of the devoted members of YERITAC. He is responsible for the organization of local events as well as he assissts the NGO with partner issues and contacts, especially with Asian NGOs and youth.

Marina Galstyan
Marina Galstyan is currently doing her MA in Sociology and is especially interested in Sociology of Knowledge. In YERITAC she is responsible for organization and logsitics, as well as for communication with local partners both in Yerevan and other regions of Armenia.

Artak Galyan

Artak Galyan is a bachelor student at the Yerevan State Linguistic University, Faculty of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication, Department of Politics, majoring in English Language and Political Science. He joined YERITAC in August 2007 having active participation in a number of YERITAC activities. His professional interests include issues of European Integration, Nationalism Studies, democratization processes in former USSR and Warsaw Treaty countries.
