Established officially in the beginning of 2005, YERITAC has been acting on volunteer level far before that, based on the initiatives of young people from Armenian universities, organizing various scientific events in cooperation with Armenian and International Philosophical Academies. Having participated in numerous international events in various countries (Austria, Poland, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Russia, Hungary, Georgia etc.) we learnt the necessity and importance of planning and organizing events for ideas exchange among scientific community in Armenia and worldwide.

YERITAC consists of YERITAC Members, YERITAC Friends and YERITAC Honorary Members.

Alexander Hakobyan
Alexander Hakobyan holds an MA degree in Philosophy and currently is doing his PhD in Psychology. In parallel with this, he is lecturing "Career Psychology" in Yerevan State University. He is one of the founders of YERITAC and its co-chair.

Hovhannes Jonas Grigoryan
Hovhannes Jonas Grigoryan is doing his PHD in Sociology and is working directly on culture and democracies. He is lecturing at Yerevan State University, Faculty of Sociology. He is a co-founder of Yeritac NGO and is in charge of international communication.

Mariam Movsisyan is doing her PhD in Philosophy of Law at Yerevan State University. She has also graduated from Caucasus Media Institute and has a big experience in PR. Now she is assisting YERITAC with its public relations.

Mariana Poghosyan is one of the multifunctional members of YERITAC. She has recently obtained her BA in Law Studies from the French University of Armenia and now doing her MA in International Relations somewhere in Europe :) Other than this she is popular with her incredible mezzo-soprano voice and ballet dancing in Yerevan.

Lusine Ghahramanyan
Lusine Ghahramanyan obtained her BSc and MSc in Biology from Yerevan State University and holds Master of Business Administration (MBA) from American University of Armenia. With a big experience in youth work, she is a person with high responsibility and is involved in the design of projects and writing of proposals.

Robert Hakobyan is a Leading Specialist in the Ministry of Nature Protection of Armenia. He is one of the devoted members of YERITAC. He is responsible for the organization of local events as well as he assissts the NGO with partner issues and contacts, especially with Asian NGOs and youth.

Marina Galstyan
Marina Galstyan is currently doing her MA in Sociology and is especially interested in Sociology of Knowledge. In YERITAC she is responsible for organization and logsitics, as well as for communication with local partners both in Yerevan and other regions of Armenia.

Artak Galyan

Artak Galyan obtained his BA at the Yerevan State Linguistic University, Faculty of Linguistics and Intercultural Communication, Department of Politics, majoring in English Language and Political Science. Currently he is doing his MA in the Central European University in Budpaest. He joined YERITAC in August 2007 having active participation in a number of YERITAC activities. His professional interests include issues of European Integration, Nationalism Studies, democratization processes in former USSR and Warsaw Treaty countries.

Lusine Shahnazaryan is an MA graduate of YSU, Romance-Germanic Faculty of Philology and majors in Spanish and English languages and literature. Since 2005 Lusine has been working at the international language center Soft&Safe (International House) as a tutor of English language and IELTS and has created and successfully applied number of projects, such as organizing debate clubs and Video English courses for advanced learners.

Hamlet Melkumyan is doing his PhD in Cultural Anthropology & Cultural Studies at Yerevan State University. He is also interested in studying Cross cultural communication, Psychology, Eastern & Far Eastern ethnic Cultures, Natural Sciences.

Yeva Harutyunyan graduated from Russian – Armenian (Slavonic) State University in 2007. Now she is a researcher in the Institute of Oriental Studies of National Academy of Republic of Armenia, in the department of East Asian countries. She is also doing her PHD in Political sciences. She is interested in studying Japanese policy in Persian Gulf countries since 1973's. She joined to Yeritac in 2005.

Hmayak Mutafov has granduated from Yerevan State University and is involved in Conflict Studies. He is an author of several outstanding papers about Nagorno Karabakh and other regional conflicts. He is currenlty coordinating YERITAC group on Facebook, assisting with a project on current Emigration flows and writing new papers which will soon be posted on YERITAC Papers.
